How we prevent an ERP project from ending in cost overruns, rejection, or operational chaos
An ERP fails when three things combine: shifting scope, slow decisions, and poor adoption. Databay's methodology exists to prevent exactly that.

Clear scope from day 1
Not everything should go into phase 1. Prioritizing means protecting the project. We define a realistic backlog with a Must/Should/Could logic to manage scope and prevent every meeting from opening ten new requirements.
A SPoC with authority and time
When too many people decide, nobody decides. We need a figure with real capacity to unblock, validate, and prioritize. This role is key to keeping the project moving.
Standard first
A well-used standard is worth more than unnecessary customization. First we understand what Odoo covers. Then we evaluate whether what's missing is worth developing. This reduces technical debt, maintenance costs, and eases future upgrades.
Short cycles and continuous validation
We don't wait until the end to show the system. We work with iterative deliveries in 2-3 week sprints so business can see, understand, and validate continuously. Quick wins from week 3.
Early training and adoption
Adoption isn't improvised a week before launch. It's built from the start with trained key users, accessible documentation, and validations using the client's real workflows.
Real governance
Clear cadence, binding decisions, controlled changes. Weekly committee with PL and SPoC, bi-weekly steering committee, sign-off per cycle, and always-visible backlog.
The difference isn't in Odoo. It's in how it's implemented.
